ib technology can design and manufacture custom products based around the innovative ibt RFID Reader designs. From project concept to finished product, we can offer the complete design, development and manufacturing service. This includes schematic design, PCB layout, software development and ISO9001 manufacturing in the UK and Asia.

We can also add features to existing ibt Reader products to meet customer requirements. Development costs are at competitive rates or can be amortised in the unit cost of the product.

Antenna Design

We have many existing antenna designs for both 125kHz and 13.56MHz Reader systems including support for HID OEM-50, OEM-75 Readers as well as ibt RFID Reader products and other PHILIPS/NXP based Reader designs.

We can design custom antenna of any size and shape to suit your application. Antenna can be manufactured in the UK / Asia or Gerber files and design information can be supplied to allow customers to manufacture themselves.

Multiplexed antenna designs are available so that several antenna to be connected to a single ibt RFID Reader. This allows several "reading" locations to be covered with cost benefit of a single RFID Reader and one communication interface.

End-market Products

The ibt OEM Readers are available in a plastic case (IP65 and different colour versions available) for desktop or general handheld use.

The standard Windows applications allow simple read/write operations to the cards and tags. Custom Windows applications can also be written to suit the customers application.

Cards and Tags

We can supply any transponder type in any package from the standard ISO card type to glass capsules, wrist bands, labels and specialist "Mount-on-Metal" tag types.

All cards and tags are manufactured to International quality standards and have been thoroughly tested with the appropriate ibt RFID Readers. Cards can be factory colour printed with the customers artwork and magnetic strips can be added for support of legacy systems.

Our knowledge and expertise in RFID technology and the Reader design ensures that we can supply the right transponder and package type for the
application and the environment it is used in.
