Products – Micro iTAG (Mifare)
Ultra low-power version of RWD-MIFARE with integrated antenna. Designed for proximity use with BUTTON tags, Mifare cards and many other transponder package types (range up to 3 cm).

Just requires a 5 volt supply to be a fully featured Mifare read / write system with automatic outputs for serial number (UID) and card data (serial or Wiegand protocol) - no external antenna required. There is also a programmable "BEEP" output pin that can be used for external control or to drive an audible sounder.

Simple to design-in and use, complete RFID reader solution with average current consumption less than 100 micro Amps even when fully active.

The RWD module has a TTL level RS232 interface that allows a host system to send
and receive easy-to-use optimised commands/data (for example: Ascii “R” command
to read tag data and Ascii “W” command to write tag data).

The RWD also has internal EEPROM memory for holding system parameters, security
key codes, lists of authorised serial numbers and supports direct LED drives to give
visual indication of acceptance. The Auxiliary outputs can each provide up to 25mA
of current to drive external loads.

Mifare 1k has 1024 bytes of read/write memory (4k version has 4096 bytes of memory) which is divided up into 16 segments (40 on 4k version), each secured by programmable key codes.

Ultralight has a 256 byte read/write memory without the key code security. All Mifare cards have a unique serial number factory-programmed at the first location in memory.
