Micro RWD Chip set (Reference Design) Very low-cost proximity RFID reader solutions available as Chip Sets (Reference Designs) for higher volume applications. EM4102, Hitag 1/2/S, Mifare 1k/4k, Ultralight and ICODE SLI transponder types supported. These Chip Set solutions are effectively the RWD module designs and layouts with firmware available on pre-programnmed microcontrollers. For example, the OEM-MIFARE board is a popular Reference Design. For higher-volume applications the Micro RWD Chip Set is available (based around Philips RF ASIC + factory-programmed microcontroller) to achieve very low-cost reader solutions. All Chip set solutions are supported by detailed schematic diagrams, Bill-of-Materials, PCB layouts, Gerber files, application notes and technical support from IB Technology. These are fully developed reference designs identical to RWD module designs giving quick -time-to-market solutions for volume applications. The RWD Chip Set solution allows RFID technology to be used in many applications never considered before. The applications are only limited by your imagination. Evaluate concept with SDK/Evaluation kit, develop application with module, then move to Chip Set.
